All discussions around MapOSMatic, its development and the internationalization effort happens there. Traffic is average, so don't be afraid to subscribe. This page explains what in MapOSMatic needs to be translated to make MapOSMatic available in a new language, and how you can translate it.
MapOSMatic uses Gettext for internationalization, which is a recognized standard. To make the handling of the .po
files which contain the translations, the main translation efforts are performed on the Transifex web site.
To help with translation, first you need to create a cost-free basic account on the Transifex site and then select the maposmatic project there. Any translations you add or modify there are pulled once daily into the source tree.
